Becoming More Creative At Work

Tools For Becoming More Creative!

Creativity can be learned and can be taught to everyone!

It's just matter of time and effort. There are three simple techniques with which we can learn to be more creative. It's just not for singers or artists. It's for anyone who wants to succeed in life and in any aspect of life.Innovation today and in the future is at the centre of creation. What gets innovation going is creativity.

#3 Tools to make one more creative

1. Continuous Practice: There is a way of making the brain work more creatively. While brushing in the night just think of three random words. Slowly and slowly in time the brain will come up with words that are actually random. It will in turn increase the creativity of the brain.

But why does it work?

It works because randomness is related to creativity. Take for example of the Hip-Hop stars. You give them any random words and they will come up with a something creative and unique. You test them for creativity and they will ace ll the tests.
What does this show us?
This is a valid proof that when we think of random words we are actually making ourselves more creative.

2.Randomness: Creativity does not only involve looser association, defocused or focused attention, lack of fixedness, etc. but most likely it is about being flexible, and knowing what is functional and when. New ideas emerge by making random connections. You observe something over here, you observe something completely unrelated over there. You then bring the two together to produce something new and different. It’s this unique combination that forms the basis of something fresh. It’s why it’s called lateral thinking.

Some exercises are designed to generate specific outputs such as consumer understanding, defining benefits, new packaging ideas. However, in order to generate fresh, unexpected ideas, throwing in one of two random exercises into the mix can really help. They’re random, because the stimulus is not prescribed. This means that the ideas you generate are less predictable. Here’s a selection of tried and trusted approaches you could turn to.

Random Numbers
The process is the same as random words, but you choose numbers instead. Numbers are very evocative and culturally resonant. 0-10 in particular are very powerful.

Final Thoughts

The key to the random input technique is not to try to directly connect the random word to your problem, but rather, to use the random word as a tool to get your brain thinking around the problem. By giving ourselves an unrelated thing/object to associate with our creative problem, we give ourselves new opportunities to find solutions through a different pattern of thinking.

3. Prime your sleep: we should imagine hacking into our own brain while we sleep, finding our problem or ideas and mashing them up to get a solution to whatever problem we face.  What we do before bed can play a role in how ready our brain is for this kind of creativity. It is said that sleep improves people's ability to come up with creative solutions to problems. There is chance of dreaming our problems and getting solution on it.
